Episode 16: Russell Lockhart

Russell Arthur Lockhart, Ph.D., is a Jungian analyst, writer, editor, publisher, day trader, and consultant in private practice in Everett, Washington.

He was born and educated in Los Angeles, California, receiving his M.A. {1962} and Ph.D. {1965} in experimental psychology from the University of Southern California. He has taught at the University of California–Santa Barbara, the University of California–Los Angeles, the University of California–Berkeley, and International College California.

For many years, he was Director of the Human Psychophysiology Laboratory at Camarillo State Hospital in conjunction with the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute. His Jungian analytic training was at the C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles {1974}, where he also served as Director of Analyst Training.

He is co-editor of Owl & Heron Press {with Paco Mitchell}, editor and publisher at The Lockhart Press {with his wife Frankie}, and president of RAL Consulting, Inc., which operates an international trading room for education in the psychology of the financial markets and global economies. His current work focuses on the fictive purpose of dreams, the commodification of desire, and a novel entitled, “Dreams: The Final Heresy.”
